Submitted by David Borden on (Issue #501)

Along with our weekly in-depth Chronicle reporting, DRCNet has since late summer also been providing daily content in the way of blogging in the Stop the Drug War Speakeasy -- huge numbers of people have been reading it recently -- as well as Latest News links (upper right-hand corner of most web pages), event listings (lower right-hand corner) and other info. Check out DRCNet every day to stay on top of the drug reform game!

David Borden tells authorities to "Take this drug tax and...", and blogs about the Bryan Epis federal resentencing hearing.

I do agree totally. The War on Drugs wastes billions of our dollars let alone all of the prison costs. I just hope that you all realize how quickly the walls of freedom are closing in on us! Weed was considered a "strong and powerful narcotic that can cause death in small doses" by the government right before it was criminalized...Someone tell me where these guys went to school?

Ok enough on that i also want to speak on rights in general.

If i have the freedom of speech to say i SMOKE POT!
then shouldnt i have the right to smoke it?
