The Marijuana Policy Project
(MPP) is currently hiring for the following positions:
-
A web
developer for MPP's campaign to pass a ballot initiative that would
tax and regulate marijuana in Nevada. The initiative is already certified
to appear on the November 2006 ballot. Visit http://www.regulatemarijuana.org

A California
statewide organizer to pressure California's Republican members of
Congress to vote for medical marijuana legislation that will be brought
up for a vote on the floor of the US House of Representatives in June 2006.
-
Six
part-time organizers in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Texas, Virginia,
and Wisconsin, to persuade targeted members of Congress to support the
aforementioned medical marijuana legislation.
-
Seven
organizers to build statewide coalitions to tax and regulate marijuana
in Arizona, Delaware, Idaho, Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon.
-
A campaign
manager to run a local ballot initiative campaign in Hawaii between
now and November 2006.
All positions require outstanding
communications skills, the ability to work independently, a high level
of organization, and a professional appearance and demeanor. Visit
