Drug War

Other than those who have vested financial interests in not seeing the truth, such as those who work in the the Pharmaceutical, Tobacco, Alcohol, and Prison/“Treatment” industries, -most people who talk about The War on Drugs agree that it is a failure on every front but what can any one person do…? On the day that I or anyone else who subscribes to my plan takes office in a position with Pardon Power, THE DRUG WAR IS OVER. While a Governor or a President can’t write law or often even determine what on the books is enforced, pre emptive online pardons for drug law violations from that day forward will stop it on day one. When coupled with a requirement that any distribution have occurred in warning covered packages (no logos or colors,) while banning advertising promotions (including Alcohol and Tobacco,) usage will drop, -with a precipitous decline in the murders, coruptions, overdoses, environmental poisonings, funding of terrorist/criminal elements, wrong or “right” house raids, horrific imprisonment and other problems caused by the War on Drugs. - Marc Romain

 I personally think that the

I personally think that the american public is tired of dealing with the drug war first they start with arresting drug dealers which for everyone busted 10 more pop up and arresting them makes perfect sense ,but then the police have started takeing the drugs and selling them and arresting the people buying them, well this does not help tax payers do not want to keep paying to keep these people in jail .the prisons are overcrowded as it is if these people want to do drugs let them.they need to spend the money on busting the one selling these drugs and only the serious drugs .

drug war

so we need to be ..."busting the ones that are selling serious drugs"...

does that include alcohol and tobacco? These two are way worse than heroin or cocaine. No we won't, to many taxes on those two deadly substances.

Shooting underscores fact that society needs new approach

This horrible incident is unfortunately not that surprising to me...I did time in L.A. Co. jail in 1976 for  a drug-related offense (only jail time I ever served, incidentally). With my own eyes, I witnessed several deputies attack a defenseless prisoner, and he died of the injuries he sustained several minutes later.  I was threatened by the sheriffs that I was to keep my mouth shut. I said 'I didn't see nuthin', etc. But secretly, I told friends and family, and the information was gotten to the mayor's office, ie.that there was an anonymous witness, etc.  Of course, I feared for my own life and freedom. It took a long time, but eventually, EIGHT YEARS LATER, two of the deputies were convicted of 2nd Degree Murder, which restored some of my shattered faith in our court and justice system. This type of heavy-handed violence by law-enforcement is hard to believe by the average citizen UNTIL YOU ARE MADE A VICTIM OF IT YOURSELF. And after that happens, you realize that it is dangerous to oppose people who have badges and guns and all the perks of being the ENFRANCHISED GANG, essentially, of society. Our enfranchised gangs, i.e., the cops, etc. have guns, and indeed, weapons of all sort. When they go bad they are worse than dangerous, and anyone of them who gets caught deserves DOUBLE the sentence of a regular citizen, in my opinion. My heart goes out to the victims of this disgusting violence. The 'drug war' excuses so many excesses by law enforcement, that they don't ever want it to stop. But the time has come for just that. Drug addiction is a medical, not a moral problem. If we don't stop trying to jail people into staying away from substances that society fears, we will continue to have more and more of this awful and insane bullshit. Mexico, for e.g., is being torn apart by the drug-law enforcement violence, much more so than the DRUGS THEMSELVES. This fact is downplayed in our controlled media. All drugs, not just pot, need to be looked at in a different way. I think we need to start spending the money on treatment, and also take a cue from ancient societies: stay away from unnatural synthesized substances, and train a whole cadre of drug-shamans and enfranchise these people and train them to know about the effect and dangers of many intoxicating substances from first hand experience, as well as how to stay away from and/or recover from long term experience of their effects. These trained individuals ought to be allowed to dispense the substances in a NON-PROFIT fashion as the second door of a treatment facility. This would be far more rational than our present ridiculous, violent, and wasteful approach. It would create REAL drug education that is not centered in agenda of one sort or another, and provide a much better way of tracking and supporting the health of people with addiction problems instead of victimizing and abusing them for having what is a socio-cultural/medical, instead of a 'law enforcement', problem.

The life and times of the modern day pot smoker

The life and times of the modern day pot smoker after seeing their movie reefer madness I knew their science was fraud. Seeing their propaganda telling the people of their scientific study where 5 people smoked a joint 2- are dead,1 -blew his mind 1- is in jail and the other one well they just don’t know. I knew these were outright lies and figured, this is America work hard play by the rules and I could prove their science was fraud, I had been driving since the age of 14 and getting stoned or a regular bases so I set out to prove their lies, not one of my drivers Ed courses did I go to unless I smoked a joint prior to going into class, getting high in the morning was just normal, I didn’t want them to come up with some claim that I wasn’t stoned so to mitigateany question I made sure every time before I went to class that I smoked a joint or I didn’t go to class after taking the class and passing my driver’s test I boasted on how I proved their science was fraud , but they insisted that I could not prove that I got stoned every day and any of my witness would instantly become criminal, so I had to admit that they were right, they said that the pot smoker was just stupid and again I thought I could prove them wrong so without studying I dropped out of school smoked a joint becoming one of the first ones to graduate from my class and again I said I prove their science was fraud, but again they came back saying the pot smoker was just a lazy criminal and would never do anything so I spent the next 30 years priding myself on hard work, honesty and good credit, then I became a land lord and land owner after 30 years of sabotaged socially, emotional and financially I could now sit back and prove beyond any reasonable doubt that their science was fraud, but then-- fire felt better that my deodorant, they dusted my bills with their poison and my bills burned like battery acid they put their poison in my water, food, steamer towels and all the while they were telling me why don’t you sell your land your home your bought and paid for retirement what does a pot smoker need his retirement bought and paid for , they don’t just steal camp Zoë, they don’t just attack cancer patients and scoliosis patients for nothing maybe the torture and terror will stop, if I sold everything besides it cost $ 400.00 to test a product and you have to know what you’re looking for since they make the test they make the machines that take the test and since man only see 1 billionth of the true reality I didn’t realize what I was up against, trying to get decent weed became almost impossible they don’t just make designer steroids for the jocks and all the crack and meth that hit the streets replaced the honest pot sellers- even Time magazine points out that the true science of weed was being subverted but they couldn’t even get a debate going I knew their science was fraud but once they place their lie against you, you are forever guilty, they sent me around the world to find a joint, I was supposed to be dead and buried under their lies but by the grace of god I survived to warn the rest of the world what these gay cowards are really doing to the people read more in the book About Christians and Freedom @Amazon.com
