Events and conferences are
coming up around the country. One major annual gathering is the conference
of the National Organization for the Reform
of Marijuana Laws (NORML), taking place this year from March 31 to
April 2 in San Francisco. This is a great opportunity to learn and
to meet and get to know fellow reformers -- DRCNet will be attendance,
so look for us if you're there. Later in the month, April 21-23, the North
American Syringe Exchange Convention will reconvene in Tacoma, Washington.
Visit NASEN to find out more. Later
in the year, November 9-12, further south in Long Beach, California, the
2005 International Conference on Drug
Policy Reform will convene. This is expected to be a big one
-- DRCNet will be there too. Finally, for those of you in Britain or with
a taste for travel, the International
Conference on the Reduction of Drug-Related Harm will meet in Belfast,
Ireland, later this month from March 20-24.
There are many local events
coming up around the country -- see our Reformer's
Calendar to learn more -- New York, Wisconsin, Iowa, Utah -- these
are just a few locations where you can come out and be a part of the movement.
Keep an eye out in the calendar for more upcoming Perry Fund events by
DRCNet, too, including June 1 in Seattle. Hope to see you there!
