The Justice Policy Institute
seeks a dynamic and seasoned full-time Director of Communication to lead
an ambitious communication program. The Director is responsible for
communicating with the media, the public and a myriad of interested parties
on a wide variety of juvenile and criminal justice issues. The Justice
Policy Institute utilizes mass and specialized communications in combination
with research, policy analysis, legislative initiatives, professional education,
and coalition-building to directly impact its mission to reduce society's
reliance on incarceration. The Director of Communication reports
directly to the Executive Director and will work closely with the Managing
Director in the area of strategic planning and implementation. A
