I’ve been named Freedom Fighter of the Month in the November issue of High Times. I think this happened either because of that incident where we crashed the White House contact page, or because they ran out of other people to give it to. In any case, I think it’s pretty cool. I remember years ago I was just out of college, doing unpaid internships, living with my parents, reading High Times at the office and hoping I would one day be worthy of this particular honor. Well, thanks guys, and yes my offer still stands, I suppose.

I finally subscribed when I was over 55 and after months of watching the Freedom Fighter articles I have concluded this honor is not lightly given. During the recent past, probably the past few years I've been reading, this honor goes to the most deserving. Embrace the honor! Just keep doing what you do. Right on. The magazine recognition is good, Kudos. The crashing the White Houses servers with letters...that's even better. 50% support for Marijuana today when there was 80% opposition twenty years ago..well that's just fantastic.
