Law Enforcement: This Week's Corrupt Cops Stories

Sodomizing SOB NYPD cops get indicted, a New York Health Department narc gets in trouble, so does a Michigan State Police narc and a Texas jail guard, and Rod Blagojevich isn't the only thing crooked in Chicago. Let's get to it:

In New York City, three NYPD officers surrendered Tuesday to face felony charges for allegedly sodomizing with a police radio antenna a man they suspected of marijuana possession. Officer Richard Kern is charged with aggravated sexual abuse and assault, while Officers Alex Cruz and Andrew Morales have been charged with hindering prosecution and official misconduct. All three were also charged with misdemeanors related to falsifying records. They were indicted last week by a Brooklyn grand jury investigating charges by tattoo shop employee Michael Mineo that when he fled into a subway station after the trio accused him of smoking pot, they tackled and handcuffed him, pulled down his pants, and sodomized him. Mineo was ticketed for disorderly conduct and upon release, and was hospitalized for several days for what hospital discharge papers diagnosed as "anal assault."

In New York City, a state Health Department supervising narcotics investigator was accused in a report by the state inspector general of being a "rogue" officer. According to the inspector general's report, Louis Crisafi, 49, had a yen for fentanyl lollipops, once fired his weapon accidentally while taking a prisoner to jail and never reported it, had lied about his credentials and employment history, staged amateurish and dangerous sting operations, interrogated suspects despite their protests they wanted lawyers, and conducted private self-defense counseling on state time. Crisafi came to the attention of investigators when the New York Times published a photo of his illegally parked yellow Corvette in a story about the abuse of government-issued parking permits. The report concluded: "Ths employee is clearly unfit for a law enforcement position, having shamelessly broken the laws and rules he was hired and pledged to uphold." Crisafi is currently on sick leave, but faces disciplinary action and possible criminal charges for violating suspects' rights.

In Monroe, Michigan, a Michigan State Patrol narcotics officer was placed on paid leave December 4 after police searched his home. Lt. Luke Davis was a member of the multi-jurisdictional Monroe narcotics investigation office. It is unclear what, if anything, they found, but the State Police said they were investigating "an allegation of potential misconduct." Davis was quick to trumpet his non-involvement with possessing, using, or trafficking illegal drugs, although he has yet to be accused of that. The results of the search and attendant investigation will be sent to the state Attorney General's office.

In Brownsville, Texas, a former Cameron County Sheriff's Department jail guard was arrested December 3 for allegedly smuggling drugs into county jails. Gabel Jacques Gonzales is charged with Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana and felony third degree attempted introduction of a prohibited substance into a correctional facility. Gonzales went down after conspiring with two people to obtain an unspecified amount of marijuana to smuggle into county jails. Unfortunately for him, his partners turned out to be a confidential informant and a DEA agent.

In Chicago, a former Chicago police officer was convicted December 3 of conspiracy for stealing thousands of dollars from drug dealers. Mahmoud Shamah and his partner, Richard Doroniuk, were also accused of stealing $30,000 from a police evidence locker in 2006. Doroniuk testified that he and Shamah routinely carried crack cocaine to plant on suspects, paid informants for bad information, and even bribed a judge to approve an arrest warrant.

Drug War Issues Police Corruption

And people wonder why our

And people wonder why our jails and prisons are so over populated!!! The majority of the people these guys take advantage of is kids, did you know that??

We all know

That, if you see one cockroach, there's a thousand more you don't see.

Michigan State Police Dogs

MSP has proven themselves to be criminal in all their actions. Who knows why his domicile was searched. He may have been one who thought being honest was the right way in the Michigan State Police. I highly doubt it though. You don't get to Lt. without burying your face in someones ass. It is probably just smoke in mirrors to cover up something else they have done, just like the murders of one of their own Kevin Marshall and one of ours Scott Woodring. They made Mr. Marshall a plaque and Scott's family is still in shock and scared to death because of their garbage. Dogs! They are just dogs, rabid dogs. Hope you know what needs to be done with rabid dogs. I do!!!

Corrupt?

WTF?????????????
Do you think the corruption of public officials might have something to do with the upbringing of these cats and not the drug war. For God's sake the f..ing govenor of Ill. is corrupt, can we blame that on drugs? No, it's just the way these idiots are. Drugs are still wrong!!!!!!

wow....you are fucking

wow....you are fucking retarded

Most drug warriors are retarded

I've monitored the comments for years now and can unequivocally state that the few drug warriors that do comment come off as very ignorant and/or senseless. This tendency manifests itself wherever drug warriors and pro-drug war morons attempt to verbalize their insane and illogical viewpoints. I attribute this to either a lack of good drugs, brain-washing, and yes; mental retardation. Or a combo of such. What can you do with them?

I guess thats why the U.S.

I guess thats why the U.S. as well as many other countries outlaw drugs... because their all stupid? No. Your the idiot junkie that needs his/her head examined

DRUG ADDICTED NARCOTIC INVESTIGATOR LOU CRISAFI

LOUIS CRISAFI, SOON TO BE TERMINATED FROM THE NEW YORK STATE DEPT. OF HEALTH IN NEW YORK CITY WHERE HE WORKED AS A ROGUE COP AND A DRUG ADDICTED BULLY WITH A BADGE, IS FACING MULTIPLE CHARGES OF OFFICIAL MISCOUNT AND YET, LIKE A MAN WEARING BLINDERS ON HIS EYES, DOESN'T WANT TO SEE THE TRUTH.

LOUIS CRISAFI, FORMERLY A SENIOR INVESTIGATOR AT THE DEPT. OF HEALTH, OR DOH, ENCOURAGED YOUNGER COPS AND INVESTIGATORS IN HIS DEPT. TO FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE AND CHEAT THE TAX PAYERS BY WORKING A SECOND, UNAUTHORIZED JOB WHILE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING NARCOTIC ASSIGNMENTS.

LOUIS CRISAFI SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY THE AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION AND BY THE BLACK ACTION NETWORK BECAUSE HE ROUTINLY MADE FUN OF GAYS AND LESBIANS WHO WERE IN THE ADVANCED STAGES OF AIDS AND HE ESPECIALLY LIKED THE NOTION OF LOCKING UP BLACK PEOPLE BECAUSE HE THOUGHT WHITE AMERICANS WERE FAR SUPERIOR THAN BLACKS.

CRISAFI ROUTNELY DENIED READING MIRANDER RIGHTS TO PEOPLE HE DETAINED WITH THE APPARENT INTENT TO THROW THEM IN JAIL

IF CRISAFI DID NOT LIKE A NEW NARCOTIC INVESTIGATOR IN HIS DEPARTMENT, CRISAFI WOULD DO ALL HE COULD TO ENSURE THAT THAT INVESTIGATOR WOULD NOT PASS HIS PROBATION PERIOD. CRISAFI'S SUPERIORS AT THE BUREAU OF NARCOTICS SHOULD BE DEMOTED AND REASSIGNED FROM THEIR OFFICES IN TROY, N.Y. AND THE NEW YORK CITY OFFICE BECAUSE THEY TURNED A BLIND EYE TO CRISAFI'S NEFARIOUS ACTIVITIES.

SOME PEOPLE CLAIMED THAT CRISAFI EVEN STOLE THE SAME NARCOTICS HE WAS SEIZED IN RAIDS!
LET'S HOPE THERE'S A MAJOR SHAKE-UP AT CRISAFI'S AGENCY AND THAT SOME HEAD HONCHOS THERE ARE REASSIGNED TO OTHER JOBS WITH ALOT LESS RESPONSIBILITY!!!

ROGUE COP LOUIS CRISAFI, NARC COP FOR NY STATE DOH

LOUIS CRISAFI'S OUTRAGEOUS CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR IS NOW BEING REVIEWED BY THE MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR POSSIBLE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. ANYONE HAVING INTERNET ACCESS CAN GO TO THE WEBSITE FOR THE NEW YORK STATE INSPECTOR GENERAL'S OFFICE AND THEN CLICK ONTO TO PRESS RELEASES AND REPORTS. FROM THERE, YOU WILL FIND A 19 PAGE REPORT BY THE I.G.'S OFFICE, DETAILING CRISAFI'S RAMBO/DIRTY HARRY STYLE OF POLICING.

ANYONE CAN VIEW THIS REPORT. THERE MAY BE PEOPLE OUT THERE IN CYBERSPACE WHO HAD BEEN WRONGLY ARRESTED BY CRISAFI, THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS IGNORED AND STEPPED UPON BY LOUIS CRISAFI. MAYBE THEN, MORE PEOPLE WILL COME OUT OF THE WOODWORK TO SAY THAT CRISAFI HAD ALSO ABUSED THEIR RIGHTS AND HAD GOT THROWN INTO JAIL. STOP THIS RAMBO COP RIGHT NOW, HE IS GARBAGE AND A MENTAL MIDGET !!!!!!!!!

drug war

It's time we all faced the reality that the government isn't waging war on drugs.....they are waging war on the American people. That's why it must stop.

genocide?

Isn't this "war on drugs" a genocide to some extent?
Hasn't the government taken this way too far?
Is this still America?
The land of the free, with 2.3 million "free" in jail.
When are we going to build prisons just for government offenders?
Could you imagine the lack of corruption in there? (sarcasm intended)
And, we're picking up speed on the way down.
And what cracks me up, it the blatant criminal activity right in front of our eyes
and yet those that are supposed to "prevent" such atrocities, still have jobs.
And they get health care for life, and a pension, an outrageous salary, and a get out of jail free card.
And the ones that are stupid enough to get caught, don't get nearly the sentence a tax payer would.
What do they call it when you "don't know" your breaking any laws, but "you should know"?
Or, when you use "authority" granted by the people, to do harm, to those same people?
And, there are people in jail for pot, for way longer than any "crimes against the people" by
the ones payed to"serve and protect" will ever be.
Just pathetic.

corrupt cop louis crisafi of the n.y. state dept of health, MARO

we need less corrupt, rogue and conceited thugs like louis crisafi working as a glorified cop under the guise of a state narcotic investigator.

This guy was a loose cannon, so why wasn't it apparent to his bosses at the bureau of narcotics at the N.Y. state Dept. of Health?

Governor David Patterson, please review this case very carefully as Crisafi was on your state payroll. The taxpayers for N.Y. state had to pay Crisafi's salary, health benefits, costs for his gun and other cop gadgets that he was notorious for using. It seemed that crisafi was arresting people of color more than caucasians. why was that? because minorities cannot afford legal representation like caucasians can?

Maybe the bureau of narcotics should be disbanded as a unit altogether in the wake of the crisafi corruption case.

North Portland Cops

Our Constitutional Rights are getting taken away from us rite under our noises little by little and no one seems to care.

Officer Bacigalupi #30878
Officer Sery #36878
all officers that worked or partnered with Bacigalupi #30878
Officer John Hughes #45063
So many more

Louis Crisafi - Corrupt Cop

After reading this story and knowing this dirt bag personally I am not surprised. He was "excused" off the National City police department in San Diego not for dating a stripper but for illegal drug sales with 11 other officers in the unit. National City did not want a media frenzy and excused him from duty. Oh and this guy was married, cheated on his wife and two children and fled to New York to avoid child support and alimony. Don't let him fool you either, he's actually 56 not 49.

But as always I have a feeling this snake will get out of the situation and show up somewhere else to cheat someone or something out of money.

Tennessee "Law" enforcement

Here in Tennessee there are no laws against entrapment. It is very commone for the police here to shake down drug dealers while making an arrest and taking some of the money the drug dealer made, while leaving enough of the dealer's drugs in their posession to make sure the dealer will serve time in Tennessee's industrial prison complex.

Sorry for the echo

Sorry for the echo

DISGRACED EX-COP / ROGUE INVESTIGATOR LOU CRISAFI

If Louis Crisafi was thrown off the police force in two southern california cities, what does that tell you? He must have had a reputation of being a loose cannon misfit, a ticking time bomb who would be a huge liability to any government agency that hired him. Unless, of course, it was an agency who didn't mind being sued for police brutality and/or corruption.

If Crisafi lied about his true age whenever he was interviewed for cop or investigator jobs, what does that say to you? If Crisafi lost his cop jobs in the San Diego Police Dept. or the National City Police Dept., then how reliable was he?

I don't want to mention which police precinct I work in but whenever Crisafi showed up in my station house during the past five years or so, with a handcuffed, bewildered & frightened prisoner in tow, we used to dread it because it meant for us having to watch Crisafi parade his hapless prisoner as though his prisoner was some sort of trophy. Crisafi usually referred to those he arrested as skells and pigs.

This unethical & unprofessional attitude on the part of disgraced narcotic investigaor Lou Crisafi made many cops in the precinct shakes their heads, wondering how in the world did this guy ever get a badge & a gun & the power to arrest people.

Most of the 'skells' that Crisafi booked at our precinct were your averge every day lay person. These were not hardcore felony criminals. While the police officers at the precinct were busy trying to solve murders, rapes, robberies & terrorist threats, who would march in but Louis Crisafi , bigshot narcotic 'detective', dragging along in handcuffs some hapless conquest of his, about to be booked for an alleged petty crime, which always resulted in a plea deal with the district attorney's office, if it even went to that level, to begin with. Crisafi just gave us a heck of a lot more paperwork to do. We don't miss him or his phony macho-man attitude and decidedly false bravado.

Lou Crisafi

Does anyone know if this guy used to work for the CUNY Public Safety Dept.?

Yes he did. I have recently

Yes he did. I have recently worked with him at DOH. Please E-MAIL me.

Rogue Cop? USMC?

This might be the same Crisafi who was in the Corps when I was. I was searching the web for old USMC guys found this. He was a real beauty. Some good stories on him and the past. This probably isn't near what he really done. Anyone know if he was from NYC then went to Calli with the Corps?
