Smarter Sentencing Act in Committee Right Now!!!

Update: It has passed the committee!

The Smarter Sentencing Act, which makes significant though still partial reforms to mandatory minimum sentencing, is in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee right now. Our Twitter page has retweets from some of our friends in sentencing reform who are in attendance.

I'll do more retweeting as I'm able, but also recommend checking out the other Twitter accounts in the meanwhile. We'll publish something about the proceedings later in the day -- hopefully and very possibly with good news!
