Marijuana a narcotic?

Marijuana a narcotic? Groan.

Ask him, "why did God make marijuana?"

Ask him, "Former Drug Czar John Walters recently said using drugs was not a moral issue, that calling it immoral missed the point.  Clearly prohibition has only created an enormous profit incentive for traffickers and dealers to spread drugs as far and wide as possible.  The U.S. has some of the harshest penalties for drugs in the world, and thus we are the world's leading jailer -- it's driving us broke! The scorched earth policy of prohibition has only backfired on us. Drug Prohibition has exacerbated every ill the prohibitionists decry: death, disease, violent crime, government corruption, younger users, etc…; so will you support prohibition which is so obviously counter-productive, or will you support rational laws to regulate drugs, thus engaging in harm reduction?"

Ask him, “mothers in

Ask him, “mothers in Jamaica smoke amazingly large marijuana cigarettes which are known as ‘spliffs.’ In fact long-term (or use the word longitudinal if you want to sound really high fallutin) studies show that babies given ganja tea by their marijuana smoking mothers outperformed babies whose mothers did not partake. Since the evidence so clearly shows that mothers who use marijuana DO NOT harm their children, do you support ripping familiar apart as we in the U.S. currently do, or do you support a Christian approach to drug policy?”
