If You Like Cartoons and Hate Marijuana Prohibition, You'll Love This

Pete Guither at Drug War Rant calls it an "absolutely brilliant video." Jon Berry at MPP says it's "a must-watch for marijuana policy reform activists." And I think it's pretty good, too. This is called The Flower by Haik Hoisington and it deserves all the viral traffic it's been getting:

You're right, I loved it

Only quibble is that I would have liked to see the cartoon people drinking alcohol start fighting with each other. But it's a gem. Well done, Haik Hoisington!

@newageblues - Well, at Euro

@newageblues - Well, at Euro 2000, there were riots in the street after people had been drinking all day.

As for the video, I felt like crying after the mean blackened cops stomped all over the happiness of others, then went out to drink after they were through.  But this cartoon illustrates quite well the reality I feel is present with marijuana prohibition.  It's very sad, and to me, it's as bad as the Inquisition of the dark ages.  In fact, the dark ages are still alive and well in 2010, and the police on drug busts act like they're on The Outdoor Channel enjoying some kind of sport.  It's makes my heart feel like a chunk of lead. :*(

terrific...

in addition to what newageblues would have liked to see, i would have liked to see the pharmacist give the patient an additional pill to treat the stomach pain the first pill caused...and even another ailment caused by the second pill be *treated* with a third...

but, yes, the video is a gem!
