Lock 'em up fever

Lock up the addicts; lock up the drunks; Lock 'em all up til they're two to a bunk! Put 'em in tents; make 'em sleep on the floor; Lock 'em all up, and then lock up some more! Lock up the dealers; take what they've got; Lock up the immigrants, legal or not; Lock up the victims of victimless crimes; They hurt themselves! Make 'em do time! Let go the murderers, rapists and thieves; We don't have room for folks such as these; Let go the ones with the means to fight back; Lock up the young, the poor and the black; Stockpile some surplus weapons of war; No need to explain what we need them for; The motto we paint on our cars is quite clear -- "To serve" our own interests, "protect" our careers. So build some more prisons; raise a new tax; Warriors like us can never relax! The Land of the Free has been free way too long; Step up to the plate, now, we gotta be strong! Freedom's for sissies, and sissies we hate; Lock 'em all up now, before it's too late!

lyrics to a song?

What a great poem!

Switch-snitch a drug warrior today.

Snitch a drug war moron on a drug tip line daily. And let the cops know about that pound of drugs the gangsters stashed in the sewer pipe on 4th St.

Lovely Rita

thank you it's a wonderful poem, my favorite, "To Serve" our own interest, "Protect" our careers.
