Breaking News:Dangerous Delays: What Washington State (Re)Teaches Us About Cash and Cannabis Store Robberies [REPORT]

Group in Dallas.Tx responsible for over 70 home invasions sometimes dressed as SWAT officers.

Todays Sunday Dallas newspaper has the story of a sophisticated group of criminals who committed over 70 home invasions. They often dressed as police task force or SWAT officers. The invasions became increasingly violent. I know they are not first to do this. Knowing this how could any jury convict someone who shoots a masked intruder busting through their front door. Even if they say they are police officers. What intelligent law enforcement agency can justify asking any officer to continue these loud confusing home intrusions. I don't believe that officer safety is a valid reason and if the evidence is so little that it could be destroyed when officers knock then why bother. A few years ago in south Fort Worth (high crime area) a female officer dressed in black with mask and gun drawn chased a suspect from a nearby raid into a convenience store. The store owner shot her. I am fairly sure it was fatal but the store owner was not charged. Tragic mistake but who could blame him. Police shouldn't have a need to dress as criminals. The raids do need to stop. Prohibition must end. If you support prohibition or support the drug war, please come to your senses and realize that YOU are the drug problem. Education is the only way. The only drug that is used less now (percent of American population smoking) then 50 years ago is tobacco. Because of education and the freedom to smoke.
