Who Is Served By Marijuana Prohibition?

Marijuana prohibition is simply a monstrous fraud that makes money for many powerful people - law enforcement, prisons, drug-testing, pharmaceutical and alcohol industries that do not want the competition, and all their related industries. Plus, it is a powerful tool used by oppressive governments to control minorities and the poor. These are the forces keeping the Inquisition steaming on and destroying millions of lives. If cannabis reformers are ever going to win the struggle, we must shift the debate from "harms," which are now fairly well known, to these powerful interests who consider cannabis prohibition their precious golden goose. We need some deep investigative reporting.
