opperation deadlock

Submitted by David Borden on
What is a citizen to do when the executive branch has begun a persecution campaign, when the legislature has let them down, when non-elected pseudo governmental agencies make their own laws and profit. The answer is turn to the judicial system and exercise the last right left to us in this crumbling democray, juror nullification. It is the most powerful right a citizen has. It takes a 2/3 vote to pass an amendment, a majority vote to pass a law, but a 1/12 minority vote can render a law impotent, and very well save a man from prison. I propose that as part of the efforts to end the war on drugs, a juror nullification drive could prove a useful tool.
