"Essential Civilian Demand" -- Cannabis Prohibition Could Be Over Tomorrow

Submitted by David Borden on
This blog introduces what I feel to be the most direct and efficient way of ending Cannabis prohibition, in time to plant commercially in every state next Spring 2008. By recognizing the true value of Cannabis, and invoking our federally protected Article One "First Freedom" of religion, people who appreciate the spiritual dimensions of Cannabis operating in their lives can claim the right to grow it without being exposed to prosecution. Prohibition of the world's most useful, nutritious, and healing herb would be impossible. The only way that Cannabis was made "illegal" was by mis-valuating the plant as a "dangerous drug." As soon as the true value of Cannabis becomes known, prohibition will end out of environmental, economic, and social necessity. Drugs don't make seeds. Herbs do. Cannabis seed is the richest source of vegetable nutrition on Earth, capable of providing complete nutrition for more people and animals than any other plant . For this reason, Cannabis is beyond the rightful jurisdiction of any court. There are several other unique and essential properties that make Cannabis both unique and essential, further removing it from the rightful jurisdiction of the government. Inducing scarcity of unique and essential resources is beyond the moral accountability of anyone. As time permits I will post more about this strategy, if there is interest.
