Colorado Democrats Endorse Marijuana Legalization Initiative
Delegates at the Colorado Democratic Party state convention in Pueblo Saturday formally endorsed Amendment 64, the Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol Act. Because support for the initiative was so strong at the convention, the endorsement becomes part of the party's "essential" platform.
[image:1 align:right caption:true]The initiative had already won the support of Democrats in 15 counties, including eight of the 10 most populous. Those counties are Boulder, Delta, Denver, Douglas, Eagle, Elbert, El Paso, Garfield, Jefferson, La Plata, Larimer, Pitkin, Pueblo, Routt, and Weld.
"This is a mainstream issue," said Cindy Lowery-Graber, chair of the Denver Democratic Party. "Polls show that more than 60% of Democrats and a solid majority of independents believe marijuana should be treated like alcohol. A broad coalition is forming in support of Amendment 64 and I am proud to say that it now includes the Colorado Democratic Party."
It's not just Democrats and independents who are supporting the notion of marijuana regulation. Last month, the Denver County Republican Assembly approved a resolution calling for just that, although they did not explicitly endorse Amendment 64. That resolution got 56% of the vote.
"While there may be more support among Democrats and independents, this is quickly becoming a popular position," the campaign's Mason Tvert told Westword over the weekend. "Supporting an end to marijuana prohibition and regulating marijuana like alcohol is a position that spans the political and ideological spectrum."
Colorado is not the only state where marijuana legalization will be on the ballot in November. A similar measure has qualified in Washington state. Signature-gathering campaigns are ongoing in a number of other states, with Montana and Oregon appearing to have the best shot of making the ballot.

Let's go CO!!!
One state gets through and
One state gets through and the whole thing will tumble in just a few years, if not faster as individual states do things without relying on voter initiative. This could be the year where we deal a truly crushing blow to the war. The tide is turning around the world. "What better place than here? What better time than now?"
I find it very ironic that at
I find it very ironic that at the state level politicians will endorse changes to drug laws. But at federal level they won't even consider talking about it. Its interesting how democracy works on a smaller scale as opposed to the big money scale of federal politics (or federal corruption depending how you look at it).
Either way if growers are involved in opposing this law like they were in California over Prop 19 I will be sorely disappointed. This could be a domino effect so I hope people from all walks of life can come together and support this initiative.
Exposing the Fraud
In order for a "crime" to be committed 3 things MUST occur or in "legalese" the "elements of crime" are; 1. something happens, occurs; 2. you have intent, a guilty mind, you intend it to happen otherwise it's an accident; AND 3. Someone or someone's property is damaged or harmed. Without these ingredients, elements, things occurring - the alleged courts DO NOT have "jurisdiction", authority b/c NOTHING HAPPENED.
Further there is NO POSSIBILITY of a "Fair Trail" b/c THE STATE BAR UNION MEMBERS control, manipulate ALL corporations for their benefit using "simulated legal process" in their UNION SHOPS, STAR CHAMBERS, KANGAROO COURTS & give protection to one another with immunity or cover-ups which is a "conflict of interest" as each is biased & prejudiced NOT neutral & fair minded.
Note their protection, cronyism extends to BAD ACTORS, IMPOSTERS, IMPERSONATORS, USURPERS, because the AGENTS are NOT "LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS" (LEO) or "Peace Officers" rather THEY are OUTLAWS, "Public Nuisances" protected by LIARS, THIEVES TREASONOUS TRAITORS aka ATTORNEYS at law.
In addition the Controlled Substance Act applies to "person(s)" NOT (wo)men made in G-d's image.
Read it... IFF supports everyone's pursuit of happiness & religious freedom.
IN addition IFF would NOT hire anyone that would intentionally harm anyone or their property while willfully violating the rule, letter, intent & spirit of the law.
Kat Up = Peace Out!
