San Diego Pot Trial Could Be National Test Case

Attorney General Holder's memo from last October stated that the federal government will not go after individuals who are operating in compliance with state medical marijuana laws, but the DEA has been ignoring the Obama Administration's wishes and has essentially gone rogue on this issue. Of the many dispensaries brought up on federal charges since, this the first to go to trial after the Obama administration ordered the Drug Enforcement Administration to stop raiding dispensaries in states where medical marijuana was legal.
