7 circles of Juarez: teenage assassins

Submitted by dguard on
120,000 Juarez youngsters aged 13 to 24 — or 45 percent of the total — are not enrolled in any education or do not have any formal employment. Because drug prohibition forces the trade underground, drug trafficking organizations step in to provide jobs, using their operatives in the slums to look out for talented young gunslingers. Youth are hired to kill for as little as $100.
