Mexico: Gang leader says US consulate infiltrated

Submitted by dguard on
Time has proven that drug prohibition has the very dangerous power to corrupt institutions of all kinds at virtual every level. A top drug gang enforcer says he ordered the killing of a U.S. consulate worker because she helped provide visas to a rival gang in the border city of Ciudad Juarez. U.S. officials probed into the possibility of corruption involving the consulate worker shortly after her killing and found no evidence that she was involved in illegal activity. That doesn't appear to be the case.
