Law Enforcement: This Week's Corrupt Cops Stories

Drug War Issues

Another jailer gone bad, another deputy with problems, and a murky tale from Tennessee involving cops, docs, guns, and pills. New year, same old same old. Let's get to it:

In Rogersville, Arkansas, a Hawkins County Jail guard was arrested last weekend for allegedly smuggling drugs to an inmate. Jail officer Phillip Roberts, 18, was charged Saturday with introducing drugs into a penal institution. He went down after a tipster told the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit that he would be delivering specific drugs to a specific inmate. Roberts confessed during a Saturday interview with detectives, and the specified drugs were found in the cell of the inmate named by the tipster. The inmate has also been charged. Roberts has been suspended without pay. He and the inmate both face up to three to six years in prison.

In Idaho Falls, Idaho, a former Fremont County sheriff's deputy was sentenced Tuesday for stealing money and prescription drugs from the sheriff's office. Bradley Holjeson, 25, got 60 days in jail and five years probation for his sticky fingers. He started with bail bond money, then moved on to pills.

In Cleveland, Tennessee, two Cleveland Police officers have been arrested and a third will be once he gets out of drug treatment in a messy investigation linking the December 18 arrest of a local physician on charges he illegally prescribed painkillers and other drugs to a November shooting where one Cleveland police officer was shot by another. Officer Dennis Hughes was arrested December 22 and Officer Jonathan Hammons was arrested the following day. Hughes is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, aggravated perjury, and filing a false police report. Hammons is charged with aggravated perjury and filing a false police report. A prescription pill bottle found in Hughes car after Officer Chris Mason was shot in the hand came from the office of the indicted doctor. It belonged to Officer Nathan Thomas, who faces arrest once he gets out of drug treatment. Investigators said that since arresting one of the doctor's employees on drug charges in 2006 they had been aware of reports that at least one Cleveland police officer was selling Oxycontin and hydrocodone tablets, but had not developed sufficient evidence to make arrests before now. It remains unclear exactly what happened with the shooting.

Heard all this before? Yep! It was during the earlier prohibition of another drug, alcohol. It's to the point that this kind of thing isn't even news anymore. But, we should press this issue. We need to end prohibition before every cop in the country is corrupted by by it. That's if it's not too late already. Do honest cops like their reputations dragged through the mud? Well, prohibition makes them all look guilty by way of association. Atleast, we should demand an end to marijuana prohibition, effective immediately. That's because 85% of all illicit drugs is marijuana. So, we can reduce the 'drug problem' by 85% just by re-legalizing pot. Then we can look at how to best reduce the use of hard core drugs without the 800lb gorilla (pot) sitting in the corner.

Back in 1994 just a week after getting married me and my wife were on our way to a lil family get together for my cousin and her soon to be husband, everyone was bringing a gift mostly househld thing's like dishes electric can opener's and such,Just thing's they needed for their new home.Well,we were running late and I was driveing my father inlaws car and he had a bottle of mouthwash in it so I so I used some to gargle with,Like a cap full and the bottle was still full!! so we are on our way about 5 minutes away and a cleveland city cop hit's the blue light's so I pull over and I'm as polite as can be but this guy was a real jerk, smart mouth would'nt let me get a word in and I asked him what his problem was and he said if I opened my mouth again he would put me in the back of his car until he was finished searching my car.I gave him permission to search because I had nothing but a gift for my cousin, anyway he finds the bottle of mouthwash and pulls me out of his car and told me he was arresting me for DUI by drinking mouthwash!!! I told him he was wrong for what he was doing on the way to the police station and he pulled over and opened the door and started shocking me with this hand held shocker and it was knocking the hell out of me.to make a long story short I was on parole and he knew it and when I went to my parole hearing he made sure he was there and got me sent back to prison and it looked so bad on me because he made sure to make them think I was a hardcore alcholic because he said I was drunk on mouthwash.I told the parole man that if I wanted to get drunk I could have baught beer or liquor I did have almost $400 dollars on me why would I drink mouthwash but ofcourse they believed him and Ill never forget that guy's name david dorsett clleveland tennessee city police officer.I ended up spending 3 years in prison because I turned down the parole so that when I came home I could be free of thing's like that.Nothing was ever done for what he did to me and I dont care anymore I just want as many people to know that david dorsett is a cold hearted bad cop who hates anyone who has made mistakes in their life.I was 24 then and I'm 40 now and he still works in the police dpt!!!

I have had the misfortune to experience police brutality for myself.  With no evidence, no crime had been committted, myself and my sister were arrested and thrown in jail.  We were not allowed to leave jail with all charges dropped until we signed a statement that we would not sue the state.

Your police force is made up of child molesters, thieves, bullies who brutalize anyone they 'want to' and brag how they "can do anything" they want without guidelines, rules, LAWS or any sort of restrictions.  They boast how they throw ethnic people in jail so they can keep their quota up and the judges obey the DAs orders.

Do not think you are immune from their hate and violence, because there are corrupt cops on the force there is no protection from real criminals that are not on the police force.  It could happen to you at any time and no one would know about it because they will violate your rights and not allow you to make a phone call nor have a decent attorney.

Motel  in Cleveland where both city and county police responded to call, there were a lot of people in one room, actually to many so the officers begin to violate the rights of the citizens  as soon as they drove on the property of the motel, the officers found a gun in the room Rifle and a small amount of drugs and charged every person that had a felony with possession of a firearm on a convicted felon and schedule ll drug charge, however the officers knew who's firearm and who's drugs it was they to the camera tape rolled it back  to find out who drove what vehicle so that they could search the automobiles, the tape showed one person not having anything in his hands when he walked in the room and 4 minutes later Bradley  County /Cleveland city officers pull up.

So they falsely charged some of these guys false imprisoned the guys and it not over yet, out of all the females NOT ONE FEMALE WAS ARRESTED  just the males,  would it be safe to say everyone knows how Cleveland city  and Bradley county are off womanizing  men who have no respect for any citizen or their own wives.

I they stoop low enough to violate females with their power of authority and wrong the one they love imagine what they do to regular citizens on a daily basis.

The  10th  Judicial drug task force threaten citizens if they don't sign statements against who they want to charge.

When a citizen has drugs on them and drug task force wants to bring a certain individuals down they  tell the person that have the drugs on them if they sign a statement on such an such person we will let you go if not your going to jail, any person will sign a statement on the name the detective gives them regardless if they know the person or not.

Extortion is a major crime if found guilty, Drug task force Cleveland City and Bradley County in noway can be trusted, the prosecutors are in with them on the false charges and imprisonment, I can not see how the judges can sit there on the bench knowing that the majority of people that come before them on charges that the charges are false.

Extortion  false imprisonment filing a false report violating the rights of Citizens abuse of authority these crooked officers  should have already been charged long before now however the citizens have no one to turn to state prosecutor showed his true colors when he wouldn't let the former Sheriff of Bradley county charge drug task force officer Bobby Queen for holding wife hostage and firing a firearm at Swat team officers, city manager is another person that can't be trusted letting Officer Snider retire other than doing the correct thing and terminate him for his actions and charge him for stealing time, all of the Citizens in this area are really concerned as to whom they can trust as of this time they have no one in local Government that can be trusted even Feds are said to be working with the drug  task force against citizens.

The people of this area have been living in a police state  and have NO RIGHTS!

If you been violated of your constitutional Rights common law Rights or been falsely charged by any of these crooked officers or public servants please post your story.

About mid August this year of 2015, I was minding my own personal business. I was not engaged in commerce in any manner, form or fashion. I was Traveling in my truck,  on my way back home from the Walmart at south end of Bradley county. When I notice a county patrol car backed In a dead end street off a side street which leads to Dalton Pike. And as I go by he pulls out, flips on his lights, I immediately pull in to the spot formally known as the home of Sports Pizza.

I believe in exercising the constitutional rights which are reserved for me to exercise. That being said, as the officer was ordering me to produce registration,  drivers licenses and the rest, I politely said that I was no for hire and that I was not driving and therefore I was not subject to those particular statutes.

Of course he wanted to argue the opposite. I was expecting he would. I had planned for that and rolled up windows and locked the truck doors, only leaving my Window cracked a good 6 inches. My hands were raised off the steering wheel in plain view. Needless to say he was headed back to call for backup when two unmarked vehicles pulled in directly in front of my truck.

Out jumped both guys pulling flack jackets over there heads with telescopic batons in hand and guns on hip. I automatically said call the Sergeant out here I can tell you guys are ready to get violent with me for no reason. I was talking as loud and as clear as I possibly could. I must have said call the Sergeant 6 times or so. Well they didn't. So I refused to roll window down or get out of my truck, or provide them with drivers licenses,  which by the way Is all perfectly lawful and legal. Look it up, don't take my word for it.

Getting on to the violation of my rights, one guy in tactical  gear held this mangy varmint up in the air by a leash with both hands, and I swear this is no joke the dog's feet never touched the ground as he made his way around my truck back to his unmarked car.

I'm counting to 5 he yelled then I'm busting this Window out If its not down. Well the dog man did just that. 4 or 5 guys started reach in on me all at once. While they were grabbing me, I was saying clearly,  I'm not a violent man I'm not resisting. I repeated that phrase exactly over and over. Then as they were forcing me to the back of my truck and to the pavement at the same time I began to yell for the passersby or anyone to help me. Of course no one helped.

Trying to close this on up here, they frisked me on the ground yanked money out my pockets, which they didn't give back,  and was in the ball park of 300 dollars. They pulled my jeans down in public searching my underwear while talking about drugs which I didn't have on me which I didn't have in my truck.

They arrested me for not providing them with registration took me to the injustice center. Charged me with resisting arrest and not showing registration.

Ok, lets look here. A busted window is property damage, an illegal arrest, assault on my person, assault on my truck, illegal search, grand theft auto my truck through towing company, false Imprisonment, kidnapping, theft by taking of my federal reserve notes.

Let me add this if I did do drugs and if they would have found drugs what damn business is it of theirs what I do and do not put in my body. Is it not my body, which is by the way my property,  I own my body and I can damn well do with It what I damn well please. No one has a right to say otherwise. Let me make this clear IT IS MY BODY WHICH IS MY PROPERTY AND I OWN IT.

Will they come someday and say I can't have out of date milk in my refrigerator. Its my refrigerator and I can have whatever I decide to have in it.

Do they see me over at their house telling them they cant have this or that in thier refrigerators. Hell no what business Is it of mine.

It appears I was robbed of my money. If the public roads are this dangerous in Bradley county then a man needs to carry his side arm too.
