Who's

Drug-Runnin'
Terrorist?

In our article last week, "While Reformers
Brood, Politicos Make Drug-Terror Connection," the Week Online devoted
a parenthetical paragraph to pointing out various connections between drug
trafficking and armed political formations. In mentioning the situation
among paramilitary organizations in Northern Ireland connected to the drug
trade, DRCNet erroneously mentioned the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC).
The RUC is the official police force for
the province and has not been linked to drug trafficking. DRCNet
instead meant to list the Ulster Defense Forces (paramilitary Loyalists),
who have been linked to Scottish drug traffickers.
