Federal Green Party deputy leader Adriane Carr is recommending the legalization of marijuana and making drugs a medical issue; the first party to do so since the liberals chickened out on decriminalization. I've been asking the federal NDP to make a stand one way or another for months and have been met with a deafening silence. I will be very surprised if the greens don't elect their first members on this stance. I will be voting Green from this day forward and will now feel that, for the first time, my vote will count. Win or lose.
