I'd like to know from others their positive and negative experiences with this first time offender program. I successfully completed the program in May and was to understand my charges would be dropped. The county in which I live did so, but the Department of Justice has not. I was hoping to be able to return to my profession but cannot do so until my record is cleared due to the nature of my work. Currently I am on SSI, Medicaid and foodstamps. I would think the government would want me to become a productive citizen once again. Your thoughts?
