Media have focused on Obama's past involvement in the racial profiling issue in recent days. An Associated Press article yesterday [11] detailed his efforts in the the Illinois legislature to address the issue. In a piece on Salon.com this morning [12], Edward McClelland posted audio of an interview with the president last year, including a recording Obama played of a 2000 campaign ad highlighting racial profiling (at about 40:20).
