Oklahoma Rep. Randy Terrill discussed taking drug fund money months ago, records show
The United States spends about $70 billion a year on drug prohibition policies, and that means lots of money floating around to tempt legislators. Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater is conducting a political corruption investigation into what lawmakers planned to do with what he calls a "slush fund". State Rep. Randy Terrill considered as early as January taking money from a state narcotics bureau fund to give to another state agency, records show.
