The Physician's Dilemma in Treating Celebrities Description From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 West 44th Street (between 5th and 6th Aves.). This symposium will cover the criminal and civil liability and ethical dilemmas facing doctors when treating the affluent, influential or famous patient. With a case loosely based upon recent celebrity deaths due to overdose, a panel of medical & legal experts will engage in a town hall type discussion about how and why doctors find themselves in trouble with the law, and what their best defense might be.
