On 25 January 2005, a common guideline was established by the Belgian Minister of Justice and the chief prosecutors in relation with offences against the law on cannabis consumption. Among others, this guideline* determines the following:

Free Kennedy Center Gala Honoring the Prisons Foundation
We are pleased to announce that the Prisons Foundation has been chosen by a blue ribbon panel as a Mayor's Arts Award Finalist in the category of Innovation in the Arts. The panel was impressed with the work done by the Prisons Foundation in allowing men and women in prison to pursue the arts and their educational development, its publishing a stunning newsmagazine Art for Justice, and its sponsorship of the Prison Art Gallery in downtown Washington.
