The people have spoken in the 2008 election, and they have stated loudly that marijuana use is to be accepted and not to be treated as a crime.

Here is another example of the growing police state , and every time this happens, it moves us towards a "new normal" in acceptable police conduct.
We, as a nation, are so complacent, and preoccupied, that we don't even react to these stories anymore.
