I'm a former deputy sheriff who worked 3 years in uniform and 12 years undercover narcotics. I have a lot of problems with things I did in the "name of the law". I spent 3 tears as a speaker for Law Enforcement Against Prohibition or LEAP, a group of current and former cops, corrections, DEA, judges and other criminal justice people, who feel the war on drugs is a failed policy. Today I work to change our medical marijuana laws. I'm a chronic pain patient, and marijuana is the only thing I've found that helps with the nerve pain in my legs. To prevent patients from obtaining and using medical marijuana is just wrong. Hopefully, President Obama will change things.

Personal Statement: Trust in our country is disappearing, parents can’t trust children, husbands can’t trust wives, and people can’t trust their government. Some how our country has lost site of some of the basic principals it was founded on. Those who are to protect us have gone from Peace Officer, to Law Enforcement Officer. Men in black uniforms with hoods over their faces break down doors, in the name of the law, many times killing innocent citizens. Criminals charged with major drug crimes who turn in several others for minor drug crimes, spend little or no time in jail. If you use opioids for chronic pain, have you doctor test your Testosterone levels. I've found that opioids deplete Testosterone levels.

I live on the California border, so I keep up on medical marijuana there. I also have chronic pain from back surgery, so I understand the patients side. Dispensaries in California may be proving the other sides point.

It's possible for the police to attach a GPS tracking device your vehicle, enabling them to track your every move. That is unless you’re the police, their exempt, just ask the mayor.
