Even his corrected statement is wrong. "Smoked marijuana" has no medical benefit? Yeah it does. All the active ingredients of marijuana are still active if you smoke it instead of eat it, you just happen to irritate your lungs as a side effect. However, all drugs have side effects and most prescription drugs have worse side effects than 'smoked marijuana.'

Try eating a brownie or taking Marinol. It's not the same as smoking marijuana; at least with smoking/vaping you can dose out as much as you need. Still feeling pain? Take another hit.

You know that marijuana will make you insane, right?
Do you know why there is no medical value in weed? Because they say so. It is a Schedule I controlled substance, and therefore will never be medically used. That's it. Period. End of story.
The DEA does not care what reason you might smoke weed, they will send you to jail and directly to jail. Do not pass go. Your fine will be way more than $200. They will put shackles on you even if you're in a wheelchair. Who cares if a person is dying very slowly and painfully. let's just throw him/her on a cold, dark concrete floor. Not to mention, let's have the inmates beat and rape him/her.

There is absolutely nothing in the "holy scripture" that prohibits any drug or alcohol. It is a creation of modern man that tries to prohibit alcohol and all of the other drugs. It only serves to muddy up the waters and confuse kids into using dangerous drugs. The don't believe a thing they hear from adults because, so far, there is nothing but lying propaganda spouted to them. Lie to a kid and you lose his trust forever! Tell a kid MJ will kill him and he might try heroin because he never heard of anyone dying from THC!
There are plenty of Christians that frequent this site and believe in the movement. Please stop bashing us in the generalizations about the other hypocrites. It is hurtful. It is sort of like calling anyone who uses THC a "doper" or "pothead"!

I was raised a "Christian", tho I no longer associate with any church or organized religion. Religious people (regardless their religion) are as diverse as any other group of people, there are saints, sinners and assholes everywhere you look. Generalizations tend to "water down the message" regardless what the message might be, as most people recognize the diversity of humanity does not allow for generalizations to be absolutely true, we know there are enough "exceptions" to prove the generalization false. And so, the message one is trying to convey is regarded by the listener with the same jaded eye as the generalization one used in the argument.

Christians are people; some think critically, some don't. I'm a Christian who completely aligns with ending drug prohibition, so make sure that we argue against ideas and not people.
