The effects of long-term addiction

The effects of long-term addiction has shown that substantial changes in the way the brain functions are present long after the addict has stopped using drugs. Realizing that a drug addict who wishes to recover from their addiction needs more than just strong will power is the key to a successful recovery. Battling not only cravings for their drug of choice, re-stimulation of their past and changes in the way their brain functions, it is no wonder that quitting drugs without professional help is an uphill battle.

long term affects of marijuana

speaking from personal experience, and someonw who has smoked just about every day since 1973, i am now middle aged still smoking it and yet realize that it probably has affected me in negative ways, however there is no one to ask since the people against it will give you the negative answers and the people for it will dispell the negative information.
so whats the real story?
will my macular degeneration get worse if i continue
will my recent diagnosis of emphsyma get worse with my continued use?
some reports say one joint is equivallent to 5 cigarettes, some say one joint is equivallent to one pack of cigarettes so which is ? does it matter if i am smoking the top of the line hydro or the bottom of the barrell regular stuff?
