Feds ignore safe injection site in new announcement

The Harper government made an announcement yesterday, promising 10 million dollars for drug treatment but were once again silent on the fate of Vancouver's safe injection site(Insite). The desks at health Canada must be bowing under the weight from all the letters of support that have been sent from every part of the local scene from Mayoral candidates to the doctors and nurses unions. It's actually getting quite funny the way they duck and dodge around the issue in the hopes that something will come down from on high and destroy the place in a ball of heavenly fire.I think there may be some very blue faces in Ottawa before the end of June.
