Junkies Union . The voice of drug users a small group of Drug Users who used to meet at a community based organization , perumbur, in Chennai. This group of Drug Users are people who are currently using drugs. Their immediate goal is to exercise their rights as drug users and be a mouth peice for the Drug Users and CBOs working for them. 

Today an injection drug user died of HIV/AIDS in Chennai. The reason for his death is that there is no Care and support specifically for injection drug users in chennai . The problem over here is poor adherence to retro viral drugs. last but not the least is the Drug User was HEP C positive. so people with double infection should be given specialized treatment.
