High Times Should Give Me a Job

So, I’m checking out High Times' Top 10 News Articles of 2008 (the stories that got the most traffic on their site) and noticed that I wrote two of them (#1 and #9). Both are crazy marijuana stories that never brought us the traffic I expected, but seem to have done well on the HT site. We allow our material to be reprinted as long as StoptheDrugWar.org is credited, so this is totally legit. I guess it kinda sucks for us that they pulled more traffic from our content than we did, but it’s fun to know that I rule the High Times news archive.

Anyway, since you cool dudes at High Times are obviously reading my blog, I’d like to be perfectly clear about the fact that I will write even better articles for you if you give me some money.

Drug War Issues Marijuana Policy

Hey High Times Guys!

I would like to add that I would buy more magazines if Scott were writing for you!

off subject but . . .

Just had to pass it along:
Digg This for the Decriminalization of Weed

This is YOUR formal invitation to join us for your personal enjoyment and to fight for the common good. On 4/20, libertarians, marijuana activists, weed users, and liberal economists have joined to publicly smoke on April 20th this year.

Hey Scott!!

Toot your horn!!

You have represented your opinions through this website in a thought provoking manner. You have framed your posts in a manner that stimulate my comments. You would be an asset to any publisher.

Keep up the good work for all of us.

You are a valued source of news and commentary

I use stopthedrugwar constantly as news moderator at 420 Magazine. I appreciate all the work you folks do. Oh, and your always given the credit. - User

Props to Scott

I'm glad you guys are very generous with your material but for a magazine to repost somebody's else's entire story with only a little link up on top to the original is pretty lame. It seems common practice that if a site wants to re-post someone else's story they would included only an excerpt and include a link to the original site.

Great job Scott!

Off topic again but I just heard Obama wants Sanjay Gupta as Surgeon General.
Here is Gupta on pot...literally...he must be on something.
