CitiWide Harm Reduction (CWHR), founded in 1995 and based in the Bronx, is a well-respected agency providing a continuum of services to homeless and low-income drug users in a harm reduction framework. CWHR has a $2.5 million operating budget, a staff of 35, and is involved in a variety of community relationships for policy, program, and funding development to reduce the harm related to poverty, homelessness, and drug use for individuals and communities in New York City.

The Executive Director is primarily responsible for overall management of the agency, which s/he carries out with an active and highly competent staff and a committed Board of Directors. In addition to dealing with all aspects of program development, fundraising, and mission-guided leadership, the Executive Director maintains close relationships with governmental agencies, foundations and donors, program and research partners, and elected officials, and is responsible for identifying new funding sources to sustain and expand the agency's programmatic activities and initiatives.

If you share CWHR's vision and strong commitment to harm reduction theory and practice, if you are a team player who is willing to learn from others and be actively involved in the agency's work, and if you believe you have the skills, knowledge, leadership, and passion to continue the success and creative growth of this agency into the future, please apply.
