Last week DRCNet reported
that prominent Canadian entrepreneur and marijuana reformer Marc Emery
had been sentenced to 90 days in a Saskatchewan, jail for trafficking --
which in this case consisted of passing a joint at a protest to another
attendee.
A petition calling the sentence
a miscarriage of justice and calling for legalization and other reforms
to Canadian marijuana law has been posted at http://www.PetitionOnline.com/ccd443/
